Committed To  Helping You Reach For Your Optimal Health  Potential In Body,  Mind & Spirit & To The Abolition Of Psychiatry!

I am an online medical reporter and  general physician with special interests in human rights and natural health  care. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology and the honors  of Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Dickinson College in Carlisle,  Pennsylvania. Thereafter I earned my MD and a New York State medical license. I  did my internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida. Harold Mandel is a sole proprietorship  dba as DrHaroldMandel.com (HaroldMandelMD.com), DrMandelNews.com  (MandelNews.com), DrMandelMall.com (MandelMall.com), and The Harold Mandel, MD  Natural Mental Health Care Reform Association with a commitment to helping you  reach for your optimal health potential in body, mind and spirit and to the  abolition of the destructive discipline of psychiatry.   I am a member of WONCA. WONCA is an unusual, yet convenient acronym comprising the first  five initials of the World Organization of National Colleges, Academies and  Academic Associations of General Practitioners/Family Physicians.  I am also a member of the  Citizens Commission on Human Rights  (CCHR). The CCHR is a nonprofit mental health watchdog which has helped to  enact more than  150 laws protecting individuals from abusive or coercive practices. The CCHR has long fought to restore basic inalienable human rights  to the field of  mental  health. I am also a member of Phi Beta Kappa  from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and the Central New York Medical Reserve Corps as a  Volunteer Physician and member of the Leadership Committee. I am also a founding doctor with  HealthTap and I am Virtual Care Certified by  HealthTap. My antipsychiatry work is dedicated to the memory of Dr  Thomas Szasz. It was his brilliant insights into the horrible abuses inherent  in psychiatry that inspired me to devote a great deal of my professional work  towards reforming mental health care.
